I want to blame the lapse in time on being busy, but that just wasn't the case.
Spring semester at college came and went without any hiccups (A in Geology, B in Communications). At the start of summer, it appeared my life was going to be as it was in prior years; however, that all changed in June.
Starting in June, I had major back pain. The pain spread to my neck, jaw, right arm, and right shoulder. I have seen five specialists and have been diagnosed with a separated rib then with fibromyalgia. My neurologist thinks I may also have Lupus (I pray that isn't the case). I am on a plethora of prescription medication and I haven't been able to attend a full work week since about mid-June. I feel absolutely horrible.
I am right handed and the pain has essentially stopped my everyday actions. I can no longer bake, reading for long periods of time hurts and so does typing on my computer. I have taken up riding my exercise bike as the endorphins released in my body help with the pain for a short period of time.
There have been some positive points to my life this year. In two weeks I am moving back to the late shift that I moved from at the beginning of this year, I am so ridiculously happy to work later. I have also started browsing Goodwill and other thrift stores, they have such neat things!
