Another day....

Well, I am sitting at work thinking about the paper I should start for my English class. I guess I just have a lot going on right now that I cannot seem to concentrate enough to sit down and start either the research or a rough draft for the paper. Maybe I will get on it today? Probably not.

In other school news, I have an appoitment at 1pm with the assistant dean to add the additional anthropology course to my schedule this semester. I really hope she allows it because if not, I will be taking 13 credits my final semester before I graduate. I really don't want to be overly stressed that semester. Speaking of graduation, if everything goes as planned, I should have my associates degree Fall 2010 after taking 13 credits this semester and 10 credits both Spring and Fall 2010. I may also take a summer course if the one I want is offered. I am also seeing if my work will pay for the English and Math courses I still need to take, it would sure be a blessing if they did.

Well, I guess I will update my blog again later.

Classes

Well, I have decided to take an additional class this semester. It now puts my credit hours at 13 along with working full time. I hope I can do it and still manage As or a lower grade as long as I tried my hardest to obtain that grade.

As for the paper, I honestly have no update as of right now. I am going to compose my paper on the different arguments of global warming. I am planning on spending the majority of Saturday at the main Denver library, hopefully there will not be another even downtown!

Wish me luck on my full schedule!! At this rate, I should have my associate degree by next summer.

Library

Well, now that I have a topic for my paper, I am going to head to the main library downtown tomorrow. I absolutely love browsing the library and researching subjects, but when it comes to writing a paper, I freeze. I hope that will not happen this time.

My other classes are going well also.

Labor Day

Well, so far this weekend is going okay. We are currently on I-70 stuck in traffic at about Georgetown. All I really want to do is be home and clean, I could do without the stink & dirt a three day Utah camping/hiking trip causes. It was a good trip (I will have pics up once home). I am not looking forward to heading back to the real world on Tuesday.

First week of school...

Well, it is the first week of the Fall 2009 semester. I must say that the first week is always overwhelming for me. I get to see the syllabus for my new classes and immediately look at the number of papers or large assignments that I do not think I will be able to complete. It is very stressful working full time and taking three classes, but I think I can handle it. With that said, I am glad that the summer semester is officially over. Two classes was very painful and I do not look forward to doing that every again.

I am also stressed due to the fact that I am heading to Utah from Friday-Monday of this week. I will be out of contact for most of the time and will be camping with my archeology class (I will post pictures when I get back). This cuts back on the time I have to complete coursework required for this week... which means that I essentially have tonight and a little bit of tomorrow night to complete my work for this week.

On top of all these stresses, I am sad that I am leaving my team at work. It may be only temporary for right now (due to an assignment from October-December), but I may also change schedules so I can have my nights free for school. We will see. Either way, it is making my co-workers and I very sad.

With all of that 'woe is me' stuff, I am off.
